Jaeger-LeCoultre not only is one of these, but many, almost twice the movements it uses itself are used by a group of other, top of the line watchmakers. Since the Thirties, when the merger occurred between the Edmond Jaeger watch division, and LeCoultre, it has always been the most important company in the Vall¨¦e de Joux. It holds numberless patents, not exclusively linked to watchmaking. From its founding to today, Jaeger-LeCoultre has been able to keep up with the times without dropping to mass production, it has made its know-how technological, but not its production methods.
